Community & Career Track

For Briefings Pass holders only. The Community & Career track aims to provide a forum for idea sharing and discussion on relevant issues impacting the cybersecurity community. Briefings in this track provide insights that help the cybersecurity community better understand challenges faced by current and prospective participants and bring forward constructive and creative ideas for solutions.

Community Events

Community Events encourage idea sharing and discussion of relevant issues impacting the cybersecurity community. Programming takes the form of intimate sessions, meetups and networking events, hosted by various cyber community members. Topics vary but are not limited to diversity, inclusion, career development, sub-community groups, mental health and niche technical topics.

The goal of this program is to shed light on current issues and provide a safe space to connect as a community. Stay tuned as we continue to announce programming.

Diversity & Inclusion

To welcome a wider range of cybersecurity professionals to Black Hat, and to encourage open and honest examination of our current challenges, we continue to expand programs and initiatives intended to create an inclusive environment. Black Hat aims to provide a platform to discuss current issues around diversity and inclusion in the industry.

Scholarships

As a way to introduce the next generation of security professionals to the Black Hat community, we will be awarding complimentary Briefings Passes to a limited number of student applications. Each pass allows access to all Briefings on Thursday, April 3 - Friday, April 4, 2025. If you are selected for the scholarship, you will have a choice between an in-person Briefings pass or on-demand pass.
